This page lists what we collect when you visit our site or buy from us, and who else sees it.
We are WP BigBang, one senior team working across Asia and Europe. We build and look after WordPress websites. This policy covers wpbigbang.com and the work we do for clients. If you contact us, buy from us, or read a page here, this policy applies to you.
We collect four kinds of information, and no more.
What you type in a form. Your name, your email address, and whatever you write in the message. Our contact and enquiry forms ask for these. Some forms ask for a phone number, and you can leave it blank.
What you send us for a project. Your text, your images, your logo, and your login details when you ask us to work on your site. We treat login details as private and we remove them from our records when the work is finished.
What you give us to buy something. Your name, your email address and your billing details. You pay on Payoneer’s own page, so your card or bank details never reach us. Payoneer takes the payment and holds those details. We see that your payment arrived, the amount, and your name and email.
What your browser tells us. Your IP address and your rough location from it. Your browser and device type, the page that sent you here, and the pages you open on our site. Our analytics collects this, and our Cookie Policy explains the cookies behind it.
We do not collect your postal address. When you buy from us, we open a client account for you. You sign in through Client Login at the top of the site to see your orders, invoices and receipts.
We use your information to reply to you, to quote and deliver the work you ordered, and to take payment. It also lets us send the emails you asked for, keep the site working and safe, and see which pages people read.
We do not sell your information. We do not share it for anyone else’s advertising.
You can stop our marketing emails at any time. Every one of them carries an unsubscribe link at the bottom, and it works on the spot. Leaving our marketing list does not stop the emails about a project you have ordered.
We run this site on services built by other companies. Each one sees part of your information so it can do its job, and each one has its own privacy policy.
| Service | What it does | What it sees |
|---|---|---|
| Hostinger | Hosts the website | Server logs, including your IP address |
| Payoneer | Sends your payment link and takes your payment | Your name, email, the amount due, and the card or bank details you enter on its page |
| SureCart | Runs the cart, your orders, your invoices and your client account | Your name, email and what you ordered |
| FluentCRM | Sends our email list and project emails | Your name and email address |
| Google Analytics and Google Search Console, through Site Kit | Show us how many people read a page and which searches bring them | Your IP address and what you did on the site |
| WP Rocket | Makes pages load faster | A cookie that tells your browser which cached page to show |
| Imagify | Compresses our images | Our images only. No visitor data |
We also hand over information when the law tells us to, when we need to defend our own legal rights, or when someone’s safety is at risk. Outside those three, nobody else gets it.
Our team works across Asia and Europe, and the services above run on servers in several countries, including inside and outside the European Economic Area. Your information moves between those countries so we can do the work you asked for.
Data protection law is not the same everywhere. Where a country’s rules are weaker than the ones in the European Economic Area, we still handle your information the way this policy describes.
Anything you post publicly on our site can be read anywhere in the world, and we cannot pull it back once other people have copied it.
An enquiry that never became a project stays with us for 12 months, then we delete it.
Project files, your content and the emails about the work stay for 3 months after the project ends. That matches the file-keeping rule in our Terms.
Invoices and payment records stay for 7 years, because tax law requires it. Payoneer keeps its own copy on the same basis.
Your name stays on our email list until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove you.
Email hello@wpbigbang.com and tell us what you want. Ask us for a copy of what we hold on you, or ask us to fix something wrong. You can also ask us to delete it, or to stop emailing you.
We answer by hand, and we aim to be done within 30 days. If we cannot delete something because tax law makes us keep it, we will say so and tell you which record it is.
We are a small team, and we want to be straight with you about what that means. We have no Data Protection Officer and no representative inside the European Union, because our size does not require one. We do not promise a 72-hour breach notice. One thing we do promise: if we find out that your information has been exposed, we will email you and tell you what happened. You hear from us as soon as we know what we are dealing with.
We serve the whole site over an encrypted connection. We limit who on our team can open client data, and we remove client login details when the work is finished.
No website is completely safe, and anyone who tells you otherwise is guessing. We will not claim your data is unbreakable. We will tell you what we do and what we cannot promise.
Our pages link to websites we do not run. Once you click away from wpbigbang.com, this policy stops applying and theirs starts. We have no control over what they collect.
When we change this policy, we post the new version on this page and change the date below. If the change affects how we use information you already gave us, we will email you before it starts.
